Juice and JED Eye in tune for Saturday Concert on the Green

HUNTSVILLE – Two of Huntsville’s most popular bands, Juice and JED Eye, will turn up the volume Saturday for Concert on the Green – the S.R. Butler Green that is – hosted by Huntsville Parks & Recreation.

Set for Campus No. 805, the urban park strikes just the right note as the department wraps up Parks and Recreation Month.

“We’re excited to bring this free concert to the community,” said Parks & Recreation Director James Gossett. “When we looked at how do we wanted to celebrate Parks and Rec Month, we knew we had to create opportunities for people to get out and have fun. We’ve done that with other events throughout the month. Concert on the Green is the perfect ending.”

Concert on the Green is free and the perfect atmosphere if you are looking for great live, local music; a special date night; or a family-friendly outing before school starts.

Bring your lawn chairs and picnic baskets or take advantage of the on-site food trucks and neighboring breweries. There’s something for every taste.

JED Eye takes the stage at 5:30 p.m., playing classic rock from the ‘80s and ‘90s.

Juice will keep the party going from 7:30-9 p.m. with an energetic mix that will have everyone on their feet.
