Last call: Employers who are hiring college interns and grads are asked to join Career Fair

HUNTSVILLE — The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber is collaborating with local and regional colleges and universities to connect students with career opportunities in the Rocket City.

Huntsville: ASmartPlace College Career Fair will provide career opportunities for college/university students in the Huntsville area or those who attend out-of-area schools and are home for the holidays.

Through partnerships with regional colleges and universities, students will have the opportunity to visit with employers offering full-time roles, co-op positions, and internships.

The career fair is Dec. 16 from 2-5 p.m. in the Atrium at Redstone Federal Credit Union, 220 Wynn Drive.

Employers’ registration information

Online registration for employers closes Monday. Register HERE.

• Members: For-profit, $200; nonprofit, $100
• Non-members: For-profit, $400, nonprofit, $200

The fee includes: one table and two chairs; two company representatives; and light refreshments.

Students/parents information

The career fair is free to all student job seekers, but registration is required. Register HERE.

• Students: You must be currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from college to attend. All majors/degrees and class levels are welcome.
• Parents: If your student is not yet home for holiday break, you are welcome to attend on their behalf to learn about career opportunities. We ask that you sign in at the door.
