Lockheed Martin Space awarded $86.7M Navy contract

WASHINGTON — Lockheed Martin Space’s Huntsville facility will provide more than one-third of the work on a recent contract awarded by the Navy.

Lockheed Martin Spacewas awarded an $86,700,000 cost-plus-incentive-fee, undefinitized contract action for the procurement and delivery of advanced payload modules, the Department of Defense announced.

The Navy said 36% of the work will be performed in Huntsville, with Denver; Sunnyvale, Calif.; Michoud, La.; Stennis, Miss.; and other locations taking part.

Work is expected to be completed Sept. 30, 2027.
