“Being a family doctor is about more than just diagnosing and treating conditions, it’s showing up for patients in a meaningful way,” said Sehgal, who speaks fluent Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu. “Over the years, I’ve come to value an approach to care that allows more time to listen, build trust and focus on long-term wellness – not just quick fixes.

“That’s what drew me to the MDVIP model, which prioritizes the doctor-patient relationship and provides the highly individualized care people want and deserve.”Trained and board-certified in Family Medicine, Sehgal has cared for patients across every stage of life. His areas of special interest include longevity medicine, preventive care, cardiovascular health, nutrition and sleep and stress management.

He received his medical degree from Windsor University School of Medicine and completed his internship and Family Medicine residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Huntsville.

Sehgal is affiliated with Huntsville Hospital Health System. His practice offers:

  • A smaller patient panel allowing for same- or next-day appointments
  • Longer visits lasting an average of 30 minutes
  • 24/7 physician availability (after hours and weekends)
  • Comprehensive yearly health assessment with advanced diagnostic tests and screenings that give a more complete view of a patient’s health status
  • Personalized wellness coaching targeting the patient’s specific health goals
  • Seamless care coordination when traveling through the nationwide MDVIP network
