Making its pitch: Tennessee Valley Exposure Summer Showcase ready to deliver

DECATUR – The girls of summer will hit the fields at Wilson Morgan Park this month for the fifth annual Tennessee Valley Exposure Summer Showcase.

Some of the best softball players in the area will compete in 14U, 16U, and 18U divisions in the three-day tournament that starts July 18.

For teams to participate, registration by July 11 is required.

For fans, the cost is $10 (cash only); kids 10 and under are admitted free. Games will be played at Wilson-Morgan Park as well as North Park. The event is not dog-friendly.

The tournament includes a camp run by college coaches and players. Games begin July 19.
