ATHENS — Morell Engineering has acquired Muscle Shoals-based Civil Group, the two companies announced today.
“Our combined forces bring over 30 years of experience providing exceptional civil engineering services to the North Alabama region,” Athens-based Morell Engineering said in a news release. “This acquisition further strengthens our shared mission of delivering the highest integrity, professionalism, and expertise for our clients’ projects.”“While Morell Engineering and Civil Group will continue to operate under their respective identities, we are excited to join forces and enhance our ability to serve the region.”
Civil Group was founded in 2013 by Brad Williams and Trey Alexander.
“We are happy to confirm that the Civil Group team and name will remain with us, ensuring continuity and dedication to our service standards,” said Williams. “I will continue my role within our team, maintaining the high level of service, quality and personal attention you’ve always appreciated.”
