WASHINGTON – NASA has awarded a facilities engineering design and inspection services contract to Vanguard Pacific of Foley. The firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is to provide architect and engineering design services at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville.
The contract, effective Aug. 1, is valued at $25.6 million and a maximum potential IDIQ value of $22.5 million, for a total value of $48.1 million. There is a one-year base period, followed by four one-year option periods that may be exercised at NASA’s discretion.
Vanguard Pacific will be responsible for design services in support of the minor construction contract for projects of $1 million or less covering master planning, surveillance, and inspection services at Marshall.
