HUNTSVILLE – SoulGrown, a digital publication that highlights the very best of Alabama, has released a gift guide featuring a taste of Alabama with goodies grown or made by farmers, fromagers, brewers, distillers, and specialty food producers across the Yellowhammer State.
Two North Alabama-made specialties are featured on the list: Belle Chevre and Irons One Distillery.

Award-winning cheeses
“Belle Chevre has made goat cheese in Limestone County since 1986. Its current owner added the fabled line of CHEVOO marinated goat cheeses, moving its production from California to Elkmont in 2022.

SoulGrown also highlighted Huntsville’s Irons One Distillery, housed in the Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment complex.

Because Irons One does not ship and frequently sells out, connoisseurs stalk the company’s Facebook page for notifications when a batch is ready. But get there quick, both Irons One products – the Bourbon and Bourbon Mash Whiskey – have been known to sell out within minutes.
