HUNTSVILLE – Local veterans, fall in.

The 11th annual Your Next Mission veterans hiring event is rolling in next month.

In association with Still Serving Veterans and in conjunction with this year’s Space & Missile Defense Symposium at the Von Braun Center, the American Freedom Foundation is hosting the event Aug. 6.

The event brings together major companies and organizations from throughout the country to profile their services and provide employment opportunities to our Veterans, Transitioning Servicemembers and Military Families.

“Our mission at AFF is to help provide meaningful employment for our transitioning servicemembers, veterans, and families,” said retired SMA Jack L. Tilley, AFF co-founder and host of “Your Next Mission” video podcast. “This is our 11th year at SMD in Huntsville and are pleased to continue this hiring tradition and hope to connect as many military community members as possible.”

Your Next Mission is a program initiative of the American Freedom Foundation that provides digital and online content, resources and support to Veterans, military servicemembers and military families. It offers guidance and insight by creating opportunities by which they can receive assistance transitioning from military to civilian life and resources to address specific needs they may have.

Your Next Mission aims to help turn their military experience into a tactical advantage in the civilian world.

Among the companies and organizations that will participate are Aviation and Missile Solutions, Avion Solutions, Boeing, Hiring Our Heroes, i3 Corp, IERUS Technologies, Intuitive Research and Technology, KBR, L3Harris, NextOp, Odyssey Systems Consulting Group, Operation Stand Down Tennessee, PeopleTec, Purdue Global, Quantum Research International, RGNext, SimTech, Still Serving Veterans, Strategic Alliance Business Group, Torch Technologies, and Valkyrie Enterprises.
