HARTSELLE — Hartselle’s annual Depot Days celebration marked a special milestone this year, celebrating 45 years of community fun, music, and tradition.
One of the highlights of the event was the return of Hartselle native Chloe Holladay, who helped kick off the festivities at the Opening Ceremony last Saturday.
Holladay made history as the first Tennessee Titans majorette and remains the only majorette in the NFL.
The ceremony, held at the Depot Days Main Stage in downtown Hartselle, featured a performance by Holladay, who brought her energy, talent, and hometown pride to the crowd. Following the ceremony, fans had the opportunity to meet her on Sponsor Alley, taking photos and sharing well-wishes.
Holladay has an impressive resume in performance and digital storytelling.
A graduate of the University of Alabama, she performed as a Crimsonette in the Million Dollar Band and later served as captain. She also made history earlier this year as the Titans’ first majorette. Holladay is the only majorette in the NFL since 2002, when the Detroit Lions disbanded their majorettes team. Today, she is working in Nashville as a social media content creator and using her platform to connect with others and share her faith.
Though her career has taken her far, Holladay proudly calls Hartselle home. Her return to Depot Days offered a memorable moment for locals, highlighting both her achievements and the enduring spirit of the community.
From the main stage performances to Sponsor Alley and beyond, the Depot Days festival celebrates the city’s history, culture, and the strong sense of community that makes Hartselle unique.
