(Our Town Podcast/Contributed, 256 Today)
256 Today is proud to present the Our Town Podcast. Check here every week for the latest episode from Troy Bye, North Alabama’s newest favorite son.
The Our Town Podcast showcases all that is good in North Alabama. Each week guests are invited from business, sports, entertainment, education, the arts, and so much more to discuss all aspects of living and working in The 256.

Each of us has a story and each of us grew out of a circumstance.

Huntsville Havoc fans have endeared themselves to Clay “Freak Daddy” Sanders Coleman for the past 17 years.
Originally from western Kentucky, “Freak Daddy” started in the radio business in college and then established himself as a household name on the North Alabama air waves.
While no longer working in radio, Clay continues to pursue his passion for announcing by volunteering his time to local youth and high school sports, most notably for his sons’ teams/schools.
You will learn how Clay chose the “Freak Daddy” moniker, watch some of the funny bits and promos he has done, and watch him show off the Havoc’s championship hardware and jerseys in a show ‘n tell segment.
Clay is a great man and you will thoroughly enjoy getting to know him better!
