256 Today is proud to present the Our Town Podcast. Check here every week for the latest episode from Troy Bye, North Alabama’s newest favorite son.

The Our Town Podcast showcases all that is good in North Alabama. Each week, guests are invited from business, sports, entertainment, education, the arts, and so much more to discuss all aspects of living and working in The 256.

Each of us has a story and each of us grew out of a circumstance. Are you ready to be inspired?
Fred Wiersig recently graduated from the University of Alabama at Huntsville. He also was commissioned as a 2nd lieutenant in the Army National Guard.
In the meantime, Fred has been hard at work with his company, Wiersig Enterprises, since his high school days – focusing on esports and working to take the industry to the next level.
At the top of Fred’s list is attracting the attention of investors to build an esports arena in Huntsville, which would further cement our prized city as the esports capital of the Southeast.
Fred is passionate and you will hear that passion come through as we take the journey and take everything esports in this episode.
