Our Town Podcast: John Kvach and Anna Clem of the Singing River Trail

256 Today is proud to present the Our Town Podcast. Check here every week for the latest episode from Troy Bye, North Alabama’s newest favorite son.

The Our Town Podcast showcases all that is good in North Alabama. Each week, guests are invited from business, sports, entertainment, education, the arts, and so much more to discuss all aspects of living and working in The 256.

Each of us has a story and each of us grew out of a circumstance. Are you ready to be inspired?

Episode 106 is here! John Kvach, Executive Director, and Anna Clem, Associate Director, of the Singing River Trail, joined the program to talk about the progress of SRT, which will provide 250 miles of connected trail across North Alabama.

We revisit the origins of the trail, discuss progress, their new HQ in Mooresville, funding challenges and successes, the charm of small town living, and the statewide initiative called Sweet Trails Alabama, which will connect all 67 of Alabama’s counties.

John is always entertaining as he makes a return appearance on the podcast (see Episode 23).
