PRICEVILLE — ALDOT advises motorists to expect delays for asphalt patching on I-65 between Priceville and Hartselle on additional days this week.

Rogers Group, the contractor on the $16.5 million I-65 resurfacing project, is patching areas that will be resurfaced next year, during the second phase of the project.

Rogers Group will patch parts of the northbound and southbound roadways today, Friday and Saturday. Weather permitting, work will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday and from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Daytime work

The contractor will work during the day due to nighttime temperatures below the optimal range for hot mix asphalt patching.

Please expect delays due to single-lane closures. Plan alternate routes or additional travel time.
