PeopleTec promotes Herriges to senior VP

Darrell Herriges has been promoted to senior vice president of PeopleTec (PeopleTec contributed; 256 Today)

HUNTSVILLE – PeopleTec promoted 30-year engineering management veteran Darrell Herriges to senior vice president as of the first of the year, the company said.

Herriges was managing more than 60 technical engineers and analysts for the Missile Defense Agency and U.S. Army’s PEO Missiles and Space.

He has more than 30 years of program management and operational command experience and has been supporting MDA programs for the past 18 years.

Herriges will continue his current responsibilities and focus additional efforts on growing PeopleTec’s footprint.

Herriges has a bachelor’s degree in astronautical engineering from the Air Force Academy; a master’s in business management from Troy State University; a master’s in aeronautics and astronautics from MIT; a master’s in strategic national resources from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces; and a master’s in the art and science of airpower studies from the Air Force School of Advanced Airpower Studies.
