Perfect 10: Huntsville’s Campus 805 celebrates a decade of entertainment and dining

HUNTSVILLE — There’s a party going on downtown and everyone is invited.

To mark the 10th anniversary of Campus No. 805, the city, the Huntsville Music Office and Downtown Huntsville Inc. are hosting a big weekend of music, food and entertainment for all ages.

From brass-fueled grooves to ‘ 90s cowboy dance parties, the festival will transform Campus 805 into the city’s music epicenter from Thursday through Saturday. The festival begins at 5 p.m. each day with live music starting at 6 p.m.

Admission is free, and the celebration will also feature food trucks, local vendors, games, inflatables, giveaways and more.

“Campus 805 has become a cultural hub for Huntsville’s music and creative community,” said Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella. “We’re thrilled to celebrate its 10th anniversary with three nights of live music that perfectly embody the energy and creativity of this space.”

If you don’t want to deal with the hassle of searching for parking, just Park and Ride.

The city is providing a free shuttle running between Lot K (620 Clinton Ave., across from the Post Office) and Campus 805 from 5–9 p.m.

“This is the perfect opportunity to get a head start on a relaxing evening and there is no cost involved,” Parking & Public Transit Director Quisha Bryant said. “The shuttle will provide a quick, convenient ride to Campus 805 and drop you off at Butler Green so you can immediately join the fun.

“And once the evening ends, it’s an easy ride back to Lot K and you’re on your way home.”

The lineup is:

  • Thursday – 805 After Five
Kicking off the party is Bone Yard of Brass, followed by headliner Saxsquatch.
Known for their funky horn lines, infectious rhythms and crowd-moving street parade spirit, Bone Yard of Brass will set the tone for a celebratory weekend with their second line sound.
With a wildly fun mashup of smooth saxophone melodies and danceable electronic beats, the mysterious, larger-than-life Saxsquatch brings a festival-ready vibe that mixes nostalgia, comedy and straight-up grooves.
  • Friday
Continue the festival weekend with Huntsville’s own GypsySoul as the opener for headliner JUICE.
Fronted by powerhouse singer Gypsy, GypsySoul has become a local favorite for their dynamic live shows and genre-bending sound.
Boston-born and now touring nationally, JUICE delivers an electrifying mix of pop, rock, hip-hop and R&B wrapped in tight harmonies and explosive live energy. The seven-piece band has built a reputation on genre-defying hooks and feel-good anthems that get crowds dancing.
  • Saturday
Close out the weekend festivities while throwing it back to the ’90s with Boot Scootin’ Boogie Nights: A Night of ’90s Country. Known for transforming classic country hits into dancefloor anthems, the band brings two full sets worth of boots, sequins and sing-alongs for an unforgettable Saturday night finale.
