HAZEL GREEN – A friendly shake is all it takes and that what it took for Richmond American Homes of Tennessee to welcome visitors to Friendship Ridge, a new residential community in northern Madison County.
The official grand opening was Tuesday, but the open house and tour of the development’s first two ranch-style model homes – the Decker and the Pewter – continue through Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Located 15 miles north of downtown Huntsville just off Ready Section Road, Friendship Ridge provides easy access to U.S. 431 and Alabama 53.
The homes at Friendship Ridge start from the upper $200s. They are built on a half-acre and range from 1,720 to 2,320 square feet for two- to four-bedroom houses.
There are six ranch-style floor plans with options, including two models with attached RV garages called “UltraGarages”.
All homes at Friendship Ridge will have 9-foot main-floor ceilings, granite kitchen countertops and quartz bathroom countertops.
The development is Richmond American’s debut in the Huntsville area.
