Rocket ‘n’ roll: Huntsville has an ‘official anthem’

HUNTSVILLE —  It may not rocket to the top of the charts, but a song about Huntsville is a real blast.

Called “Huntsville, Alabama (Official Anthem)”, the song features 100% local talent and was written by Joey Locke, Scott Locke, Zack Tate, and Grammy award-winning producer Kelvin Wooten, who also developed it.

“We’re excited to share ‘Huntsville, Alabama (Official Anthem)’,” the Huntsville Music Office writes in its March newsletter.

Along with Wooten, the song features stellar Huntsville musicians Dave Anderson, Brandon Pair, Ken Watters, Steve Motz, Billy Bargetzi, Roger Dale, Madilyn Wheeley and Zack Tate.
