HARVEST — Motorists on Wall Triana Highway in northern Madison County will need to alter their commute over the next four months.

The intersection of Wall Triana Highway and McKee Road has been closed for the construction of a roundabout.

This infrastructure improvement is part of Madison County’s ongoing efforts to enhance traffic flow and roadway safety.

The intersection is expected to reopen by Oct. 31, provided there are no significant weather delays or construction complications.

Message boards are in place to notify motorists, and additional signs help guide drivers to alternate routes.

Motorists are advised to use Alabama Highway 53, Old Railroad Bed Road, Harvest Road, and Caroll Road as alternate routes during the closure.

Commuters should expect delays and plan accordingly by allowing extra travel time or adjusting their usual routes.
