Rumours confirmed: Black Jacket Symphony to perform at Sand Mountain Amphitheater

ALBERTVILLE — Making its Albertville debut, the iconic Black Jacket Symphony will perform Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours” at Sand Mountain Amphitheater.

Known for their incredible live recreations of rock albums, the group of talented musicians will perform the entire classic album note for note Sept. 2, as well as a full set of Fleetwood Mac’s greatest hits.

Although this will be the first show in Albertville for Black Jacket Symphony, the band is no stranger to North Alabama. The band has performed several times in Huntsville and Birmingham playing such albums as Van Halen’s “1984″, the Eagles’ “Hotel California”, and Queen’s “A Night at the Opera.” Each performance is its own musical and visual experience, unique to the album being performed.

According to the Black Jacket Symphony website, “The group of hand-picked musicians changes based upon the album being performed—and no sonic detail is overlooked, with the musicians doing whatever it takes to reproduce the album. It’s a full night of rock and roll magic – plus a visual experience unlike any other. Fans across the country flock to their shows – and once you see one, you won’t miss another!”

Sand Mountain Amphitheater is an outdoor venue with capacity for more than 6,000 spectators and is part of the 130-acre Sand Mountain Park in Albertville.

Tickets for the can be purchased online. Doors open at 6 p.m. with music starting at 7:30 p.m.
