RUSSELLVILLE — Famed for its chili-cheese dogs and soft-serve ice cream, the Frosty Inn has been a Russellville icon for more than 60 years.

Now, the state and the nation will be treated to that North Alabama landmark with a feature on Simply Southern TV.

The show will premiere locally Sunday at 9 a.m. on Huntsville station WAFF-TV 48. It will be rebroadcast March 27 on national cable network RFD-TV at 3 p.m. Central time.

“In a world of chains, restaurants like the Frosty Inn in Russellville, Alabama are hard to find. Since 1960, it has been serving its famous hamburgers, hot dogs and ice cream,” said Simply Southern reporter Melissa Bowman. “The secret to its success is a combination of good food and friendly service set in a familiar place that always feels like home to its loyal customers.”
