SBDC offering free consulting sessions to Athens tornado business owners

ATHENS — The recent storms have left behind new challenges for many small businesses in Athens.

To help meet those challenges, the Athens State University Small Business Development Center is providing a free consultation for the business owners.

The consultation sessions, which will be Jan. 7-9, will be led by Heather Wright, regional manager/finance specialist, with the SBDC. The one-hour meetings will cover legal specifics, recovery strategies, available resources, and more.
