HUNTSVILLE – After closing down a few years ago, one of the more popular dining spots in west Huntsville is coming back.
McAlister’s Deli, known for its fresh ingredients and signature sandwiches, is reopening its former location on Perimeter Parkway in the Rocket City.
And it’s back with new owners who are familiar to Huntsvillians.
“We are thrilled to bring McAlister’s Deli back to Huntsville,” said Kim Caudle Lewis, franchise owner. “Our team is working hard to enhance the dining experience for our guests, and we can’t wait to share the famously delicious sandwiches, salads, and sweet tea with our community again.”
Founded in 1989, McAlister’s Deli is a fast-casual restaurant known for its hospitality and high-quality, handcrafted food.
The Huntsville McAlister’s Deli will feature an updated interior designed for comfort and convenience, making it the perfect spot for families, friends, and colleagues to gather. Guests can enjoy a variety of menu items, including the classic McAlister’s Club, Garden Salad, and the renowned Spud, all made with fresh, quality ingredients.
“We are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for our guests,” said Larry Lewis. “We have talked to a lot of people that missed McAlister’s being in Huntsville and they are excited that we are able to bring it back to the area.”
The Lewises said they plan to open a store in the Shoals in the next couple years.
