Sentar’s SAVR program recognized by FedHealthIT

HUNTSVILLE – Huntsville-based Sentar was selected by FedHealthIT for a 2022 Innovation Award in collaboration with the Naval Information Warfare Center and Defense Health Agency.

Sentar is a woman-owned, advanced cybersecurity and intelligence provider. Its Site Assessment and Vulnerability Remediation (SAVR) program was developed to globally unify military treatment Facilities.

“Our valuable collaboration with NIWC and DHA led to streamlined business processes and the elimination of significant cybersecurity risks, allowing onsite staff to focus on local healthcare needs at MTFs,” said April Nadeau, senior vice president of DoD programs at Sentar. “We’re proud of our SAV team on this achievement.”

As part of the DHA Risk Management program, the SAVR team’s overall mission includes minimizing Med-COI’s enterprise current residual risk.

Sentar’s SAVR program will be recognized at the upcoming FedHealthIT Innovation Awards and Networking Reception on June 7.
