ServisFirst Bank Huntsville promotes Jacobus and Jones

HUNTSVILLE — ServisFirst Bank announces two promotions within the company’s Huntsville region.

Elizabeth Jacobus moved up to assistant vice president, commercial banking officer, and Drew Jones is branch operations manager, bank officer for the ServisFirst branch in Cummings Research Park.

“We are very proud to announce two very deserving promotions this week,” said Andy Kattos, ServisFirst Bank Huntsville regional CEO. “Elizabeth Jacobus and Drew Jones are exemplary employees that continue to showcase their dedication to clients and excellent understanding of the Huntsville market.”

Jacobus joined ServisFirst team as an intern and has steadily risen among the ranks over the past six years. She accepted a full-time position as a credit analyst after graduating magna cum laude in finance from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

While working full-time, she completed her MBA at UAH and has been promoted to assistant relationship manager in 2019 and commercial banking officer in 2021.

She volunteers throughout Huntsville and serves on The Cornerstone Initiative Board of Directors, National Children’s Advocacy Center Young Professional Advisory Council, and Huntsville Hospital Foundation Development Council.

She is a graduate of Leadership Greater Huntsville’s Focus Class 38, Connect Class 23, and Associated Builders and Contractors’ Future Leaders Exchange program. She also currently chairs the Mentoring & Milestones committee for the Women’s Economic Development Council.

Jones also joined ServisFirst as an intern. Upon graduation from the University of North Alabama with a degree in banking and financial services and a minor in accounting, she was hired her full-time. Jones served in a variety of positions including client service representative, loan administrator, and branch operations supervisor.

She is involved with the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, the Crescent-Dough Auction for the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, and has participated in the Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree every year since 2014.
