The Silver Companies just announced they have closed on 13 acres of prime real estate across from Toyota Field at Town Madison, and on 15 acres at Clift Farm off Highway 72 West where they will debut their Silver Collection Signature Series, their premier luxury apartment product.
The Florida-based developer has invested “tens of millions of dollars” in each development and plans to break ground in early spring at Town Madison, and early summer at Clift Farm, based on current market conditions.
The Silver Town Madison and The Silver Clift Farm will introduce a new level of luxury living with a twist to Madison and the Huntsville area. That twist is a coworking cabana club membership called Out of the Box available to non-residents as well as residents.
The Silver Town Madison will reflect the downtown atmosphere of the development with the baseball stadium, entertainment and restaurants mixed in with residential. It will be a four-story elevator building with over 360 units and a row of townhouses. It will feature urban living architecture and layout including a 20,000 sq. ft. clubhouse located inside the main building.
Residents have access to an oversized gym with the newest equipment, free continental breakfast every morning, and access to a great coworking cabana club. Non-residents with an Out of the Box membership have access to coworking and clubhouse amenities during business hours.
The Silver Clift Farm will also be four-story elevator buildings with approximately 375 units, but they will not have townhouses. It will have a farmhouse layout and architecture, and a 20,000 sq. ft. standalone clubhouse. The overall amenities are the same as Town Madison with an Out of the Box membership available to non-residents as well.
Both locations will have full-time entertainment directors and at Town Madison in particular, there will be a perpetual cruise ship atmosphere about the property.
“We believe Town Madison and Clift Farm are the best locations in the area,” said Spencer Silver, executive vice president of The Silver Companies. “We do want people to feel like they live on a cruise ship where they have more fun in their home than anywhere else and can invite friends over to enjoy it with them. They will experience a great lifestyle that is unparalleled to any other comparable community.”
While Town Madison will have a larger emphasis on co-working, Silver said both locations will have the best Huntsville, and maybe the state of Alabama, has to offer in terms of great amenities and quality of life. He also believes Huntsville/Madison will become another great southeastern U.S. city like Nashville and Atlanta, offering people unlimited opportunities.
“We have had our eye on building in Huntsville for a while,” he said. “It is a growing market with Redstone Arsenal the ‘Pentagon of the South’, NASA, the FBI and the U.S. Army all building a huge corporate-style presence here. It has become impossible to ignore.
“With the wave of people moving here for high-paying jobs, they are going to want somewhere nice to live, and we are really trying to bring these people a next-level lifestyle.”
Silver also stressed they do not build their apartments to sell but are long-term holders who take a lot more care and detail when building and operating their properties.
“Everywhere we go we want to be great corporate citizens and have a great impact on the community,” said Silver. “We want to build a homebase where we can develop more projects that give back to the community.
“We only go where we see opportunities and we plan to be in the Huntsville market for many years to come. Our success will make an impact on the community, and we think that is an important duty for any successful regional business.”
Renderings of the two properties have not yet been approved but will be available soon.
