HUNTSVILLE – The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is holding a job fair Thursday with nearly 350 full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions available. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The center is hiring Space Camp counselors, nurses, lifeguards, museum guides, guest services representatives, gift shop sales associates, food service workers, custodial workers, ropes course instructors, education presenters, and more.

In addition to the nearly 350 jobs that start immediately, the Rocket Center will be adding close to 200 more jobs in May.

Many jobs start at $12 to $13 an hour. Full-time job benefits include insurance, vacation time and other benefits.

Part-time employees receive paid time off and other perks, such as museum passes and discounts.

With this hiring phase, the Rocket Center’s employment will double in size, nearing back to pre-pandemic numbers.

The job fair will be in the Rocket Center’s Education Programs building.
