Sparking an interest: Huntsville Fire & Rescue hosting recruiting meet-and-greets

HUNTSVILLE — Thinking about applying to Huntsville Fire & Rescue or eager to learn more about the job? Make plans to join HFR at two meet-and-greet events.

The informal open houses offer the opportunity to talk with HFR Recruiter Capt. Cory Green as well as HFR leadership and firefighters. Attendees can get a sense of station life in addition to HFR’s training facilities.

The schedule for the meetups:

  • Today from 6-8 p.m. at Station 1, 2110 Clinton Ave.
  • June 7 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Public Safety Training Academy, 5365 Triana Blvd.

HFR will be accepting applications through July 1. More information on the application process can be found at JoinHFR.com.
