HUNTSVILLE – Mark Splawn has joined the U.S. Space & Rocket Center as vice president of Projects and Infrastructure.
Splawn will oversee large-scale capital and construction projects at the Rocket Center including facilities, security, environmental and technical services.
“We are pleased to welcome Mark to the team,” said CEO and Executive Director Dr. Kimberly Robinson. “He brings his vast experience to the Rocket Center at a critical time as we continue to refresh our campus and plan for exciting additions to come.”
Splawn was director of facilities at Dynetics for two decades and received the company’s Customer Service Award and Business Excellence Award.
An entrepreneur, Splawn ran his own landscape management company, which was a Huntsville/Madison County Chamber Small Business of the Year in the Services category.
Splawn is a Huntsville native and a graduate of Grissom High School and the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where he received a degree in finance.
