Sweet Pineapple to anchor Lendon Corner retail development in Huntsville’s Jones Valley

HUNTSVILLE — With a popular Huntsville boutique as its anchor, a new retail destination is on the horizon for the Jones Valley area.

Lendon Corner, a craftfully designed shopping center, is slated for completion next spring.

In the heart of Jones Valley in south Huntsville, Lendon Corner will include up to four retail  spaces, with Sweet Pineapple as its anchor.

Established in 2013 by local entrepreneurs Gina and Travis Garrett, Sweet Pineapple is known for its curated selection of home goods, baby gifts, jewelry, apparel, and accessories — all offered with a warm, Southern charm that has become a hallmark of the shop’s identity.

According to a news release from Crunkleton Commercial Real Estate, the vision for Lendon Corner centers on intentional design, curated business selection, and an elevated customer experience.

Developers hope the project will not only complement the beauty of the surrounding neighborhood but also contribute to the continued growth and vibrancy of Jones Valley.

“It’s hard to describe the incredible support we’ve received from Huntsville over our eleven years in business,” said Gina Garrett. “I’m most excited for my sweet customers to experience Lendon Corner, as they have been unwaveringly gracious with us over the years.

“Huntsville is a great place to have a business, and I’m  thrilled to grow and expand in this new chapter.”

In addition to Sweet Pineapple, the remaining three spaces are ideal for retail, boutique, and restaurant concepts that align with the spirit and quality of the Jones Valley community, the news release said.

“Lendon Corner is a beautiful addition to Jones Valley, and I’m excited to help bring the right mix of tenants to the project,” said broker Wesley Crunkleton.
