HUNTSVILLE – There’s about to be a musical movement in the Rocket City.
The composition will strike a chord with fans and can be considered allegro.
The Huntsville Music Office has formed a duet with Tangled String Music & Arts Festival, which will take place at John Hunt Park.
“The Tangled String Music & Arts Festival team is so grateful to partner with the Huntsville Music Office in our most ambitious festival to date,” said Danny Davis, owner of Tangled String Studios and festival organizer. “Come celebrate the return of our festival adventures in this beautiful, new setting.”
Previously at Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment, the festival – set for Oct. 3-4 – is moving to a larger venue with more green space at John Hunt Park’s festival field adjacent to the Sand Volleyball Complex.
This change creates opportunities for the festival and an elevated experience for attendees, including more parking, more space for music and art, cleaner sight lines and more room to dream big, according to a news release.
Fans can expect the same stellar music lineup, an immersive arts and crafts fair experience and curated vibes with more room to dance, play and explore, plus some exciting new programming elements to be announced soon.
“We’re excited to help reimagine the festival in a place that offers wide open skies and endless opportunities,” said Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella. “John Hunt Park gives Danny and his team the freedom to amplify everything there is to love about this event — music, art, food and community.”
