The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is inviting the public to gather for a community watch party as NASA prepares for the Artemis II launch on Wednesday.

The event will take place inside Saturn V Hall at the Davidson Center for Space Exploration, with gates opening at 4:30 p.m. The launch window is scheduled to begin at 5:25 p.m.

The watch party is free to attend, with discounted admission offered throughout the day for visitors who want to explore the museum ahead of the launch. Admission will be $15 for adults and $12 for children.

Team members from NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center are expected to be on-site to provide live commentary and insight into the Artemis II mission. The Rocket Center’s education staff will also host hands-on activities for children during the event.

NASA’s live launch coverage will be broadcast on the Saturn V Hall’s giant screen, with the event tied into the agency’s official coverage throughout the launch window.

The Huntsville-based facility serves as the official visitor center for Marshall Space Flight Center and showcases major spaceflight artifacts, including a National Historic Landmark Saturn V rocket and the Apollo 16 capsule.
