HUNTSVILLE — The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command will host Team Redstone’s 2023 Center of Excellence Advance Planning Briefings to its industry partners in the Bob Jones Auditorium on Redstone Arsenal.
This year’s theme is “Government – Industry Partnerships to Sustain Modernization and Readiness Beyond 2030.”
The event is March 21-23 and is open – virtually and in-person – to small businesses, large corporations, federal contractors, and government organizations. Registration deadline is March 21; click here to register.
“One of the Army’s top priorities is readiness,” said AMCOM Ombudsman Terri Schwierling. “The Army works closely with its industry partners to build and maintain that readiness.
“At this annual event, our local federal agencies present details of future plans and programs to our industry partners, so they can work together to provide better products and services to support the Army’s readiness.”
APBI provides a forum for information exchange and discussion between industry, academia, and Team Redstone government agencies.
The event provides transparency in acquisition strategies by providing long-range technology and capability development objectives to industry partners. It also sheds light on potential business opportunities available with Team Redstone organizations.
Participants have included the Missile Defense Agency, U.S. Small Business Administration, Marshall Space Flight Center, Space and Missile Defense Command, Defense Logistics Agency, FBI, the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce and several AMCOM organizations.
