The Gabriel trumpeting arrival in Madison

MADISON — The Gabriel, a 288-unit multifamily property, is under construction on Balch Road in Madison. Eastern Union’s Mid-Atlantic Group, a Maryland commercial real estate brokerage firm, recently secured a $49.5 million construction loan for the project.

Birmingham-based Capstone Building Corp. is the general contractor for the 18.5-acre complex designed by Williams Blackstock Architects.

The community includes 10 three-story residential apartment buildings, separate garage buildings, a clubhouse and pool, a dog spa and a fitness center.

Funding is provided by 3650 REIT to New York-based Hillcrest Acquisitions.

The Gabriel originally began construction in 2022 and is now scheduled for completion by July 2024.
