HUNTSVILLE — The Market at MidCity, a vibrant weekly event showcasing local farmers, bakers, and artisans, is returning next weekend for its seventh season, the Apollo Coalition and MidCity District Association announced.
The market features more than 40 vendors each week and offers produce, baked goods, plants, and much more.
From March 16 through Nov. 9, the market will be open noon to 4 p.m. daily at The Camp on University Drive.
“We are thrilled to bring The Market at MidCity to life again this year,” said Lindsey Patillo Keane, executive director of the MidCity District Association. “Our goal is to create a space where the community can come together, support local producers, and enjoy a day out with family and friends.”
Visitors can expect an atmosphere filled with music, shopping, and family friendly activities. The market supports local businesses and provides a unique shopping experience that highlights the best of what the North Alabama region has to offer.

Emphasizing its local commitment, all products are sourced within a 150-mile radius.

This year, the market is presented in partnership with the Apollo Coalition, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization at MidCity. The coalition focuses on nurturing entrepreneurs and small businesses and raises funds to support the market, which serves as a business incubator for small food purveyors from across the area.
“The Market at MidCity is the perfect example of how to support local self-starters,” said Joanna White, managing director of the Apollo Coalition. “Every Sunday, MidCity becomes the ideal place to shop local and build community.
“The Apollo Coalition is proud to be a part of creating an environment for small businesses to thrive.”
