Thomas announces for Alabama State House District 10 seat

MADISON — Aaron Thomas, a Madison business owner, has announced his candidacy for the Alabama House of Representatives District 10 seat.

The state primary election is May 19, 2026.

“I believe in limited government, strong families, and the God-given freedoms that define who we are as Americans,” Thomas said. “These aren’t just talking points to me — they’re the principles that shape how I live, raise my kids, and run my business.”

According to a news release, Thomas’s work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit began early. At age 16, he landed his first job at Donato’s Pizza.

When the owner – who was his mentor – retired, Thomas became the owner and he and his family now operate four locations across North Alabama.

As a small-business owner, Thomas said he is committed to providing jobs and economic opportunities across Madison County and to serving the area with integrity and devotion.

“As a husband, father, business owner, and neighbor, I want a future for Alabama where freedom is protected, opportunity is earned, and values still matter,” Thomas said.

Thomas and his wife Amy have been married for 10 years and have two daughters.
