“Congratulations to Virtuous Realty, Investor’s Resource and Signalink, who were recognized by our state business associations as three of the top small businesses of the year in Alabama for their impact on their surrounding community,” said Michelle Epling, executive director of the Madison Chamber of Commerce. “Their teams hard work and commitment has truly shown through this year, and we are proud to have such dedicated businesses that are members of the Madison Chamber.”

The awards were presented by a partnership between the Business Council of Alabama and the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama, at a ceremony last Wednesday at The Club in Birmingham.

Virtuous Realty Group received the bronze award for Emerging Small Business of the Year; Investor’s Resource received the silver award for Small Business of the Year (one to 10 employees); and Signalink was named the silver winner for Small Business of the Year (51-100 employees).

Nominations for the 2022 Small Business of the Year Awards were made by local chambers of commerce across the state. The finalists were reviewed by a panel of out-of-state judges in areas including community involvement, chamber participation, business success, and overall deservedness.
