Thrive Alabama hosts former President Bush for inaugural Speaker Series

HUNTSVILLE – Former President George W. Bush will be visiting the Rocket City next month as Thrive Alabama launches its Speaker Series.

“We are honored to welcome President Bush to Huntsville,” said Mary Elizabeth Marr, CEO of Thrive Alabama. “His visit underscores the importance of our city as a hub for healthcare, innovation and leadership.”

The Feb. 11 event will feature an exclusive conversation with Bush, the 43rd president of the United States. Guests at the evening event will have an opportunity to hear about Bush’s time in the White House, lessons learned, and his continued efforts at the George W. Bush Presidential Center, the organization said.

Thrive Alabama is a 501C-3 organization which strives to empower the community with compassionate, accessible, quality healthcare.
