Arts Huntsville will continue the tradition of honoring local military at Panoply Arts Festival on Friday, April 29.

Military Salute Night honors the sacrifices of men and women in uniform and recognizes the service of active duty and reserve service members living in our community. Admission is free to all active-duty military personnel, Armed Forces reserves and their dependents.

“Military Salute Night is a special Panoply tradition where we celebrate and show our gratitude for the servicemen and women in active duty and our Armed Forces reserves,” said Allison Dillon-Jauken, executive director of Arts Huntsville who is putting on the festival. “Thanks to their selfless service and sacrifice, we can celebrate wonderful events like Panoply and experience the arts each day across our community.”

Friday’s programming begins at 5 p.m. and concludes at 9 p.m. with a fireworks show.

The program includes six performances by Delaney Faulds, Shelly Williams, Poor Rover, Tres Locos, Jayne & the Huntsmen and the headlining performance by Hero the Band on Panoply’s two music stages.
