HUNTSVILLE — Verous Technologies, a Huntsville-based Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business joint venture between TekFive and Iron Bow Technologies, has been certified as a 8(a) program participant.
“We are proud of this important milestone and its expected impact on future growth,” said Tony Taylor, CEO of TekFive, also Huntsville-based. “Receiving this certification will allow us to develop new relationships and successfully compete for new contracts as we continue to grow in the federal space.”
TekFive is a SDVOSB and 8(a), veteran employment-centric company, providing enterprise IT services to federal customers.
TekFive and Iron Bow have a strong track record of delivering innovative technology solutions, enabling federal agencies to tackle complex IT automation challenges with agility and precision.
Through this collaboration, Verous Technologies opensdoors for customers and partners, granting them access to the combined strength of TekFive’s automation capabilities and Iron Bow’s expertise in cybersecurity, IT modernization, digital transformation, and workforce experience.
Together, this partnership is poised to drive transformative outcomes by enhancing security, streamlining operations, and reshaping the digital landscape for federal organizations.
“Receiving 8(a) certification is another critical step forward for Verous Technologies,” said Iron Bow President and CEO Rene LaVigne. “This achievement allows Verous to grow their impact and provide top-tier IT services to the government sector while addressing customers’ most complex challenges.”
The SBA’s 8(a) initiative is a robust nine-year program created to help firms owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. Among other attributes, the program allows participating companies the means to equitably compete and receive federal set-aside and sole-source contracts.
