Registration is now open for the 19th annual Weekend Warrior Soccer Tournament, one of North Alabama’s longest-running adult soccer events.

The tournament, presented by Definitive Valuations, is scheduled for July 24-26 at Merrimack Soccer Complex in Huntsville.

Organizers say the event has become a staple of the regional sports scene, regularly drawing teams and players from across the Southeast. This year’s tournament comes just days after the conclusion of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, adding to what organizers expect will be heightened excitement around the sport.

The tournament’s featured Open Division, sponsored by Bowers Plumbing, will award a $3,000 cash prize to the championship team. Organizers said the division traditionally attracts high-level talent from across Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia and Mississippi, while also showcasing teams from the Huntsville area.

In addition to the Open Division, the tournament includes brackets for a variety of skill levels and age groups, including women’s, women’s over-30, co-ed, recreational and over-30, over-40 and over-50 divisions.

More than 50 teams are expected to participate this summer.

Teams that register by May 30 will receive a $50 discount on entry fees, according to organizers.

Additional information and registration details are available through Weekend Warrior Soccer Tournament.
