Huntsville’s Freedom Real Estate has released plans for their latest project – a 54,000-plus square-foot building planned for the Commons at Hays Farm.

Part of the 850-acre master-planned development located between two Redstone Arsenal gates, Redstone Road and Martin Road, the new office space will also be bordered by a new nine-acre City of Huntsville park in the heart of Hays Farm.

“With its quick access to Redstone Arsenal, the nine-acre City of Huntsville park, and the lack of other office space in this part of town, we knew we had to jump at the opportunity to contribute to this exciting development,” said John Roberts, real estate and development manager at Freedom Real Estate.

More than 75 federal organizations have a presence on Redstone Arsenal and over 900 defense contractors call the city of Huntsville home. The Marshall Space Flight Center and numerous aerospace and aviation companies also reside in the Rocket City.  

“We have already received interest from several defense-related contractors who see the proximity to Redstone as an excellent location to set up shop,” Roberts said. “We also have received inquiries from non-defense companies who want to be in a class A office building in South Huntsville.”
