HUNTSVILLE — Westminster Christian Academy sophomore Sutton Gore has been selected as a finalist for America’s Most Spirited High School Athlete.
Now, she needs others to catch the spirit and vote for her online.
Gore is a member of the Wildcats’ cheer and competition squads. She was selected for her team-building skills, ability to motivate, inspire and encourage teammates to work together, push harder and achieve success.

The winner must exemplify sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork and humility and help maintain morale under any circumstance. Winners will be announced during the Varsity Brands virtual “School Spirit Awards” show June 8.
A total of $70,000 will be awarded across 15 categories, including a $25,000 grand prize for America’s Most Spirited High School. All other category winners receive $3,000.
The school with the most votes will receive $25,000 in awards from Varsity Brands.
Every year, Varsity Brands recognizes schools and organizations that positively impact pride and community spirit in America’s high schools.
