FLORENCE – Das ist ausgezeichnet!

Grab your best dirndl and lederhosen, and join the UNA Department of Foreign Languages next week for the GermanFest celebration.

The annual event is Tuesday from noon until 2 p.m. in  the Memorial Amphiteatre.

In case of rain, GermanFest will move inside Wesleyan Hall.

Participants will receive a free German meal of currywurst, spätzle, sauerkraut, rotkohl, and gummibären.

The first 100 individuals to GermanFest will also receive free t-shirts.

Everyone is invited to take a selfie in front of the backdrop of the famous German castle Neuschwanstein.

This annual event is sponsored by the Department of Foreign Languages at UNA along with a grant from the Alabama Germany Partnership.
