HUNTSVILLE — Author Edie Hand will sign her latest book, “Women of True Grit,” at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center gift shop Saturday.
The book features the stories of women in the fields of business, education, engineering, math and science, and entertainment.
Prior to the book signing, Dr. Kimberly Robinson, CEO and executive director of the Rocket Center, will join Hand for a special presentation of the Alabama Public Television series, “Women of True Grit,” Marshall Space Flight Center Director Jody Singer; Dr. Lisa Watson-Morgan, deputy director of the Engineering Directorate at Marshall; and Lakeisha Hawkins, deputy manager of Human Landing System Program at NASA.
The presentation begins at 10:30 a.m. and the book-signing is 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The book signing and the presentation are open to the public.
Guests attending the presentation will receive the $20 per person group rate admission to the museum.
