HUNTSVILLE — Yulista Holding has acquired StraitSys, an analytics and cybersecurity company. StraitSys has offices in Huntsville and suburban Washington, D.C.

“StraitSys is thrilled to join the Yulista family as their commitment to supporting the national security mission is perfectly aligned with ours,” said Tim Strait, co-founder and president of StraitSys. “We chose Yulista not only because of the strategic benefits to our customers, but because we share similar business culture and values.”

StraitSys has worked with the FBI, Merrill Lynch, Shelby County Criminal Courts, the Missile Defense Agency, and other entities, according to a news release.

This is the second acquisition in two months for Yulista. In June, the company hired Huntsville-based Troy 7, a missile and aerospace engineering company.

“We are very excited to bring another innovative technology solution into our operations and our portfolio of services,” said Yulista President and CEO Josh Herren. “StraitSys’ industry-leading capabilities will enhance our technology group and allow us to protect our customer’s critical assets.”

Yulista said its acquisition of StraitSys will boost its cybersecurity and technology portfolio. StraitSys’s capabilities will grow Yulista’s technology group and allow it to support federal and commercial customers.

Yulista is a Alaska Native corporation in the aerospace and defense industry.
