HUNTSVILLE — The Huntsville office of the National Weather Service isn’t pulling any punches in its forecast for this week. Two words: Dangerous heat.

“Hot conditions will develop this week as highs climb into the mid-upper 90s,” the office said today. “Dangerous heat index values in excess of 105 degrees are forecast across much of the area, especially Tuesday thru Friday.

“Stay indoors, stay hydrated, and check on friends/family.”
