Concert on the Dock – Huntsville

Lowe Mill’s fall Concert on the Dock 2026 series is coming to a close. Pop Latino artist Tomas Gorrio performs Sept. 25 from 6-9 p.m. There is no charge for the concert and parking is available on property for $10. 

Fall Plant Sale – Huntsville

September 26

The Botanical Gardens are open to the public for the Fall Plant Sale on Sept. 26. Doors open at 8 a.m. and gardeners are welcome until 4 p.m. No Garden admission is required. The shop feature fruits, herbs, perennials, trees, shrubs and houseplants. Knowledgeable plant professionals will be on hand to answer questions and help you choose the best plants for your space. 

Sizzle and Smoke – Decatur 

September 26

Sizzle and Smoke barbecue festival returns to Decatur on Saturday, Sept. 26 at Ingalls Harbor. Come hungry to try all the finger-licking tastes. The main event is the cooking competition for the regions best steak, ribs, pork chop and dessert. 

Live and Local at The Observatory Bar: Matt Prater – Huntsville

September 29

North Alabama musician Matt Prater brings his soulful storytelling to The Observatory Bar. His music boasts a mix of country, honky tonk, folk and roots rock music. A night of entertainment for all to enjoy, come see Matt Prater from 6- 8 p.m. at the AC Hotel.

Cullman Oktoberfest – Cullman

October 1 – 4

Dig out your lederhosen and practice your steinholding because Oktoberfest is back! The festival begins on Oct. 1 and runs through Oct. 4 at Depot Park in Cullman. The festival will be filled with lively music, cultural displays, delicious German cuisine and three biergartens.
