HUNTSVILLE — If you “believe that we will win,” then come out and watch the U.S. Women’s National Team defend their title in the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The United States takes on Vietnam in its opening match Friday at 8 p.m. and there are two places in Huntsville holding watch parties.

Downtown Huntsville Inc. is sponsoring a watch party at Big Spring Park and Brickhouse Sports Cafe is holding a party at 7 Town Center, right in the midst of the Village at Providence.

The watch parties are family-friendly events and fans should bring a chair and/or blankets to the Big Spring Park watch.

If you’re downtown, grab a Purple Cup and a bite to eat from one of the truck rallies and enjoy the experience.
