Aerobotix wins Lockheed Martin supplier award

HUNTSVILLE — Aerobotix, a Huntsville-based robotics integrator, has received a special Lockheed Martin Supplier Recognition Award at the Lockheed Martin Supplier Conference.

The company, a “a vital partner” of Lockheed Martin’s Space Division, was honored for “Ease of Doing Business.” It is the second time in three years Aerobotix has won the award.

“We’re honored to accept this award from Lockheed Martin as one of their top suppliers,” said Keenan Simmons, Aerobotix senior project engineer. “Aerobotix is known for delivering innovative robotic solutions to the aerospace and defense industries.

“The Ease of Doing Business Award recognizes that our team is also great to work with, providing outstanding customer support.”

Aerobotix has been a Lockheed Martin supplier for 17 years. The company provides robotics and automation support to Lockheed’s Aeronautics, Missiles and Fire Control, and Space divisions.

In 2020, the Missiles and Fire Control division named Aerobotix as an Outstanding Small Business.

“Though we’re technically a small business, Aerobotix takes pride in being able to make a big impact on projects for Lockheed Martin and other global companies,” said Simmons.
